Terms & Conditions

  • The participant must be Deaf or Hard of Hearing from anywhere in the world, with a valid identification card proving this.
  • The video should address the theme 'Promoting the XX World's Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf 2027 Abu Dhabi' Highlighting reasons for choosing Abu Dhabi as the conference venue and reflecting its cultural, social diversity, and acceptance of others.
  • The content of the video must be appropriate and respectful for all ages, including children and adults.
  • The video must not include any disrespect towards nationalities or religions, respecting Arab societal norms.
  • The video must be self-produced by the participant. Videos containing copyrighted material without permission will not be accepted.
  • The video must be in the participant’s native sign languages, with written subtitles in English, Arabic, or the participant’s own languages.
  • Videos should be in a vertical (9:16 portrait) format suitable for social media platforms.
  • The video should not exceed two minutes in duration.
  • Members of the judging panel are not allowed to participate in the competition.
  • Entries must be submitted by the specified deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.
